Students will provide an initial research seminar describing the rationale & approach, conduct the research, & provide a concluding seminar describing the outcomes of the study. The timetable is agreed between the student & supervisor & the course coordinator.

Course description
This course exposes students to aquatic research through a field or laboratory-based project producing a report to a high scientific standard & communicating the results effectively to an audience, while working under the supervision of an academic in any approved discipline. Students completing the course in a single semester must enrol in MARS7003. Students completing the course over two semesters must enrol in MARS7000 if commencing in sem 1 and MARS7002 if commencing in sem 2. Email study@cms.uq.edu.au for information.
