Course description

This course offers students the opportunity to interact with relevant professionals in the field of marine studies during an industry placement. The course consists of 8 weeks of continuous or equivalent flexible, structured, technical experience in an organisation or institute (private, public and not-for-profit organizations and research centres). Students are encouraged to make contact with suitable organisations before seeking approval to enrol in this course. Students completing in a single semester must enrol in MARS4010. Students completing the course over two semesters must enrol in MARS4011 if commencing in semester 1 and MARS4012 if commencing in semster 2.
