Course description

Not offered in 2013 Focussing on the study of erotic representation across a range of European cultures (French, Italian, Germanic and British) from the middle ages to the mid twentieth century and examining the historical dimensions of such texts in the emergence of modern notions of obscenity, pornography and perversion. This course may be cancelled if there are fewer than 20 enrolments.
