Course description

This course will introduce salient features of traditional & contemporary Chinese culture, including the value systems, norms & ways of life found within the Chinese diaspora. Through study of everyday people & their social milieu, students gain a sound understanding of the practical & contemplative qualities which have moulded the enduring Chinese civilisation.
