Course description
This course is intended to explore the current structure and operation of the leisure industry so that students gain a greater understanding of the complexities involved in delivering commercial recreation services. As part of this exploration, a consideration of the key elements that drive day-to-day leisure service delivery will be undertaken. Such a venture will, by necessity, include a review of some of the myriad situations that leisure professionals encounter using a case study approach in seeking to provide opportunities for meaningful engagement in leisure.
