Course description
This course will examine the conceptual and practical aspects of the taking of security over personal property under the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth). The course will explore the law on formalities, priorities and enforcement under the Personal Property Securities Act. In doing so the course will draw on the New Zealand and North American legislation upon which the Australian legislation is based.
