Course description
This course is an advanced level examination of the Australian Consumer Protection regime as embodied in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2010 with particular emphasis on how these pieces of legislation differ from the previous law. The course seeks to develop students¿ knowledge of specific provisions and the effects of the legislation on suppliers and consumers in the context of the theories of regulation and consumer law.
