Course description
NOT 2007. The course will examine the fundamental principles relating to Confidential Information, Copyright, Patents, Designs, Trade marks, and Passing off and s 52 Trade Practices Act. It will consider the functions of and justifications for different types of intellectual property right, the ways in which the different areas of intellectual property interact, and the techniques the law uses to identify the 'boundaries' of intangible property rights.
