Course description
An analysis of the processes and institutions used in the settlement of international disputes, including the legal infrastructure available to States to settle disputes without recourse to physical force, mechanisms that allow resolution of disputes between legal persons and the State in the international system, the role of non-governmental organisations, the laws and customs of war, peacekeeping and the Responsibility to Protect.
