Course description

Protection of inventions by way of patents, the patents system & procedure for obtaining patentable subject-matter, requirements, obviousness & lack of inventive steps, objections to validity of patents, patent infringement, remedies for infringements & international patent treaties & laws, how patents relates to other IP requirements, in particular, plant breeders' rights.
