Course description
The course is a study of selected topics in the law relating to corporate insolvency. The course structure is flexible but focuses particularly on core areas such as winding up, insolvency, voidable transactions, the interaction of liquidation and receivership, receivers and other controllers, voluntary administrations, deeds of company arrangement under Part 5.3A of the Corporations Act and formal schemes of arrangements under Part 5.1 of the Corporations Act. The course also includes consideration of current issues in practice, recent developments and law reform proposals.
