Course description
This course is an advanced level examination of the regulation, management and planning of wealth creation, wealth preservation and wealth transfer in Australia, including the use of testamentary trusts, insurance and binding financial agreements and the impact of Family Provision claims and bankruptcy as a feature of estate planning. The course seeks to develop students' ability to articulate clearly and coherently the legal and policy issues in relation to estate planning, formulate and investigate problems, create solutions, innovate and suggest reform improvements in relation to the law.
