Course description
Topics include: introduction to methods of proof; burden and standard of proof; presumptions; competence and compellability; privilege; examination of witnesses (including the accused as a witness); hearsay; admissions and confessions; illegally obtained evidence; similar fact evidence; character evidence; corroboration; identification; opinion evidence; documentary evidence; and real evidence.
