Course description
This course is an intermediate and critical examination of the theory and practice of advocacy in Australia and in international settings. The course seeks to develop students' understanding of written and oral advocacy and ability to demonstrate that understanding in relation to a range of complex legal problems in different legal settings. Accordingly, the course will encompass: administrative 'merits' review advocacy; civil (appellate) advocacy; and, international dispute resolution.
