Course description
This course is an intermediate level critical analysis of the key features of, and legal issues associated with, international (intergovernmental) organizations under international and domestic law, such as international legal personality, immunities or management of peace and security by the UN. The course seeks to develop students' knowledge of international organizations as a main actor on the international scene, their emergence and structure, their internal functioning and their relations with member States and with the wider international legal order.
