Course description

NOT 2010. The course begins by considering the key rules and principles of international law regulating the conduct of armed conflict, focusing on the four Geneva Conventions of 1949 and the two Additional Protocols of 1977. It then examines some of the fundamental civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights enshrined in international law, drawing on topical case studies.
