Course description

Examines selective claims involving unjust enrichment by the receipt of money or other benefits at the expense of the plaintiff. Topics include mistaken transactions; misdirected payments; claims arising out of ineffective contracts; duress and other abuses of power; unauthorised exactions; justifiable intervention; disgorgement of profits from wrongdoing; defences.
