Course description
The course explores the intricate relationship between law and society by examining the origins of legal and social norms, their various forms, and their impact on behaviour, social order, and change. This course draws on socio-legal scholarship and empirical studies to provide a comprehensive understanding of law in context, from foundational theories to diverse legal systems and contemporary legal practices.
