Course description

This is an upper advanced level course. It is an introduction to teaching Japanese as a second language in school settings. The course requirements include school visits (primary and/or secondary) in W9-12. Students will spend minimum 4 hours per week at their allocated schools, assisting teachers and students in class activities. This course is suitable not only for pre-service teachers but students who have a general interest in teaching Japanese as a second language.
