Course description
NOT OFFERED IN 2011 Addresses issues raised by the relationship between humans and their natural and social environment. Consideration is given to the historical background and to the ethical and religious frameworks which underpin and shape contemporary discussion of environmental concerns. The course addresses these issues from the disciplinary perspectives of Philosophy, History, Literature, Studies in Religion, Politics and Asian Studies.
