Course description
This course is designed to teach clinical leaders how to commission and/or develop Clinical Practice Guidelines to facilitate evidence based practice. It teaches practical techniques which can be used for small guideline projects, such as simple procedures included in local manuals, as well as robust methodologies which meet the requirements of international standard Clinical Practice Guidelines. It is based on contemporary international guideline standards including those approved by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), Australia's peak body for health and medical research.
