Course description
This course covers the ninth to the twelfth centuries, including topics on the Vikings, the Crusading Movement, the formation of nation-states, government, law, and commerce, providing also a background to early modern Europe and a continuation of early Medieval studies. This course may not run if there are fewer than 20 enrolments.
