Course description

This course provides students with understanding and foundational expertise in the use of computational and information technologies in historical research and the communication of its outcomes. Students are introduced to fundamental concepts and methods employed in the creation, management and analysis of historical evidence in electronic forms. They gain practical expertise in the creation of digital scholarly resources and new modes of publication through a choice of group project-based tasks. This course is available for all students and will be credited as an elective in all modern history and ancient history majors.
