Course description
This course develops computing skills in Geographical Information Systems for processing tasks and web mapping. It covers more advanced concepts on spatial database management for projects and applications. This includes publishing data on the Internet and web mapping. It introduces basic skills in programming with the Python scripting language to automate GIS processing tasks and to develop analysis tools. The course provides a highly desired competency for GIS analysts.
