Course description
History and practice of forest management in Asia and Australia including a review of the timber and other products and services they provide. The goal of the course is for students to be aware of the socio/economic factors determining forest use in the region. Students will analyse cultural impediments to sustainable tropical forest management. (Minimum enrolment required 8)
