Course description
FREN3111 builds on the fur basic language competencies - - listening, speaking, reading and writing - - developed in the first two years of the beginners stream, though with an emphasis on reading and writing. The course involves a basic grammar revision as well as the detailed study of authentic written and audiovisual French-language texts whose linguistic structures students examine and re-use in order to create new texts. The authentic material studied is chosen with a view to deepening students' intercultural awareness.
