Course description
Application of advanced principles & clinical skills in exercise assessment, prescription & programming as relevant to musculoskeletal injury. Students will be expected to develop as a confident and skilled professional within the Allied Health Industry. Learning tasks in lectures and practicals encourage professionalism and critical reasoning skills and the advanced tasks related to Inter-professional education will develop the students skills in creating an effective and recognised professional persona. Development of theoretical frameworks and practical skills for physical activity assessment, prescription and programming for individuals with musculoskeletal conditions will facilitate a greater depth of knowledge in this field. Field work will complement the theory and practical components.
