Course description

Provides students with skills and knowledge necessary for working with people with motor, sensory, cognitive or behavioural impairments in the professional practice of exercise science and exercise physiology. Includes critical review of the evidence-base underpinning practice. In addition to lectures and tutorials, student learning is enhanced by 6 x 2.5 hr of clinic-based work in the School's Motor Active Program which assists children to acquire age-appropriate movement skills.
