(offered in semester 1 in even years only) Sedimentary environments of formation of coal, oil shale, petroleum & uranium, geochemistry & petrology of fossil fuels, geothermal energy, exploration for fossil fuel resources, resource assessment, mining/production of coal/oil and gas.
