Course description
Introduction to palaeontological principles and methods of analysis, and the evolution and ecological structure of the biosphere from the origin of life to the present. Analysis of morphometric, palaeoecological and diversity data; and palaeobiology of major groups of animal & plant fossils represented in the stratigraphic record. Application of the fossil record to biological and earth sciences.
