Course description
The course is undertaken as a one-week field trip at Heron Island, on the southern Great Barrier Reef, 80 km northeast of Gladstone, with lecture sessions, briefings, workshops and examination prior to and following the field trip. There is a quota of ~25 students. Additional cost will be payable by students. All enquiries for permission to enrol to be addressed to: gpem@uq.edu.au. Potential students will be contacted by the course coordinator in O-week and informed whether they are successful in obtaining a place in this course.
