Course description

Students who successfully complete this course will have developed a detailed understanding of the themes and forms of a range of key texts in the revenge tradition, a methodological introduction to further postgraduate work in English literary studies, and experience in managing an extended research project. They should also be able to develop a stronger sense of the moral and ethical issues at stake in revenge narratives.
