Course description
Not offered 2013 This course invites you to negotiate the border between the complexities of literary appreciation (i.e. the pleasures of a good read) and those of scholarly critique. Our novels variously address such contemporary literary themes as history and memory, ethics, globalisation, war and terror, migration, identity, the consilience of art and science - and food. NOTE: Course offering may be cancelled unless a minimum of 20 students enrol.
