Course description
The engineering of medical imaging equipment - in particular non-ionizing systems. Ultrasound Imaging and Magnetic Resonance Imaging systems will be investigated in detail and emerging technologies such as Infrared , Electrical Impedance and Optical Tomography will be discussed. Methods of operation and engineering design principles of these innovative devices are covered for all systems.
