This is a year long course. It commences in Semester 1, 2021 and completes in Semester 2, 2021.

Course description

This course is designed to challenge preservice teachers to use their knowledge, expertise & experience to design learning environments that will engage students in the learning process & cater for a variety of learning styles. It is designed for students from non English speaking backgrounds. It introduces preservice teachers to a range of roles in mainstream & specialist classes & covers a broad range of theoretical & practical issues important to the teaching & learning of ESL. This course may not be offered if the enrolment is less than 10 students.
