Course description

This course provides pedagogical content knowledge & curriculum knowledge for prospective teachers in the Middle Years of Schooling in relation to the Science Key Learning Area. A variety of contexts are used to explore a range of appropriate teaching models & authentic assessment techniques in line with current approaches to teaching in the middle years. There is emphasis on the integration of information & communication technologies into teaching practice as well as integration of topics between key learning areas.
