Course description
Advanced Professional Practice is a 7 week period in a school which allows transition to intern status after 4 weeks supervised practicum. The internship is the core of Advanced Professional Practice & allows the intern to operate as a beginning teacher with increasing responsibilities for the tasks and duties performed by teachers in classroom, school and community domains. The internship program aims to provide structured induction into the teaching profession within a supportive whole school context. The last offering of this course at the Ipswich campus will be in Semester 2, 2011.
