Course description

This course will explore contemporary youth issues & culture from a number of perspectives including: public perceptions of young people incorporating media representations & extant public attitudes; relevant literature & current theories of development; & first hand experiences with young people in a variety of settings & contexts. This will provide an important foundation for teaching the Middle Years of Schooling.
