Course description

This course will explore contemporary youth issues and culture from a number of perspectives including: public perceptions of young people incorporating media representations and extant public attitudes; relevant literature and current theories of development; and first hand experiences with young people in a variety of settings and contexts. This will provide an important foundation for teaching the Middle Years of Schooling.
