Course description

(EDUC4500 - 20 days practicum) (EDUC6500 - 20 days practicum and 15 days internship) Professional issues in the Middle Years of Schooling will provide students with foundational introductions to the purposes & history of education & schooling, the social construction of the curriculum & curriculum structure, educational policy, early adolescent contexts, & current issues for the Middle Years of Schooling.
