Course description
The early years of education are the most fundamental for future learning and development. In these years, young people have vivid imaginations, creative ideas and energy and enthusiasm for life and learning. This course focuses on the importance of creating rich, engaging and stimulating learning environments that provide opportunities for young people to think, engage, explore and interact. It explores the nature and structure of the curriculum in the early years to promote social and personal learning, health and physical learning, language learning and communication, early mathematical understandings and active learning processes.
