Restricted to Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Echocardiography students only.

Assessment methods

A. Formative Assessment: a. Questions associated with the previous week of lectures will be provided each week. Once the questions are completed, answers will be provided to the students (web based). b. Comparison by the student of the student's echo reports with UQ course teachers "gold standard" reports (web based) . c. Feedback from supervisor to the student (supervisor input) d. Submission of one completed report per week (course teacher input) B. Summative Assessment: a. Web based examination of theory at the end of the semester aligned with the UQ semesters. b. Supervisor's report c. Validation of the logbook by the supervisor.. d. Submission by the student, of two "interesting" case studies with all the associated images on disc, with verification by the student and their supervisor that the scans have been acquired and interpreted by the student. If the student is seeking both TOE and TTE endorsement a TOE and TTE study must be submitted.
