Course description

Few writers have influenced global culture as much as William Shakespeare. This course introduces Shakespeare & the historical, cultural, literary, theatrical, & intellectual contexts within which he worked. Students will study Shakespeare's tragedies, comedies, history plays, & romances, along with his Sonnets. NOTE: Couse offering may be cancelled unless a minimum of 10 students enrol.
