Course description

Medical Nutrition Therapy Practice 2 builds on Medical Nutrition Therapy Practice 1 and continues to involve students in the practice of the nutrition management of individuals in acute and ambulatory care settings. Students spend the equivalent of 25 days in placement across the semester, developing competence in the nutrition care process, screening and assessment and the nutrition management of acute and chronically ill people.
