Course description

This course introduces students to a range of specialist dental disciplines expanding the breadth of their clinical knowledge, skills and understanding beyond those needed for the delivery of basic general dental care. Students will acquire skills and attain competence in history taking, assessment, recognition, diagnosis, care planning and aspects of management for conditions commonly managed within the dental specialties including general medicine, medical emergencies, endodontics, and orthodontics.
