Course description
Introduction to Dental Disciplines B will continue to enhance students' emerging understanding of dental specialist disciplines prior to clinical practice the following semester. On completion, students will be able to take and interpret intra oral radiographs in a simulated environment and have an in-depth understanding of the laboratory and clinical processes that are involved in removable prosthodontic appliance fabrication. Students will also have developing interprofessional practice skills, including role clarification, team functioning and inter-professional communication towards achieving client centred care.
