Course description
In Dental Practice IB, students will build on skills and knowledge gained in Dental Practice IA. In this course, students will demonstrate emerging manual dexterity skills applying the principles of minimal intervention dentistry, and an applied knowledge of direct restorative materials and their properties. On completion, students will conduct a comprehesive dental clinical examination, demonstrate effective communication techniques and critically reflect on dental practice experiences, from multiple perspectives and context. Students will be provided frameworks to formulate evidence based preventive management plans for dental caries.
