(not offered in 2008) This course is aimed at the student with a strong background in Computer Architecture, who would like a deeper appreciation of research issues in this field, & a stronger understanding of how to conduct research in Computer Architecture. Understanding long-term trends, their implications & likely limits is a key aspect of the course.
