Course description

This course is suitable for experienced conflict resolution practitioners or students who have completed their Master of Conflict Resolution and wish to consolidate their experience and/or learning with an in-depth knowledge of the theory behind their practice. It covers psychological theories, compares and contrasts different models of conflict and conflict resolution, and includes a component dealing with topical issues in conflict resolution. The course will be conducted in a three-day intensive block of classes (9 am-5 pm) followed by a one-day class approximately six weeks later during which students will present their research-in-progress. The course may also be completed online.
