Course description
Not offered 2011
In this course, students participate in a range of activities at a family mediation service provider. These include conducting mediation sessions as a co-mediator with a mentor. The objectives of the course are: to provide, under professional supervision, direct experience in mediating family law disputes; to enable students to receive feedback from qualified and experienced professionals about their work as family law mediators; and, to acquaint students with the ways in which leading family law mediation programs operate. IMPORTANT NOTE: As placement opportunities are limited, you must contact the Course Coordinator before enrolling to discuss the availability of placements during the semester of your choice.
